'Tis the Season

My friend Aimee and I went to the Old Ville yesterday to catch a free organ concert in St Piere's cathedral. It was supposed to be in the basement of the cathedral, but unfortunately, we couldn't find it. We did hear music but couldn't find how to get to the basement and the front doors were gated. Instead we found a little old fashioned train with carols ringing from it's speakers. It said “Free ride” so we hopped on. As others come one, I asked them where the train went to and learned that we would get a little tour of the old ville to see the Christmas lights. The lady sitting next to us added to the fun of the ride as she heartily sang along with the carols, “oo la la”-ed the lights and enthusiastically exclaimed “Regardez à gauche!”, “Regardez à la doit!” and “C'est Magnifique!”
