I love the above phrase. It literally says, “I’m on my knees” and it means “I’m exhausted.” It’s a phrase I use a lot after the weekends. I ran a practice 5K race with my colleagues during my lunch break on Friday. Saturday I hiked 4 hours and then walked around Chur for another 2. Sunday I took the bus to the outskirts of town and intended to catch it back after strolling through a park. I just missed it. I’d already been walking for 4 hours, so rather than wait a half hour for the next bus, I walked most of the way home.
Good thing I was back at work today. It was a nice rest after my weekend.
