While I was looking for permanent employment, I did some temporary data entry. You know those evaluation forms you fill out for college classes? Well, I got to enter people’s responses into a database. Some kids wrote in Japanese, which was fun because I was able to translate. Mostly, I was astonished at the atrocious penmanship. I felt like I was reviewing grade 1 work again. How on earth did these students ever get to college?! Here’s a sample:
